Jetsetting new crew Mike and Prue arrive and no surprises, have managed to up our tempo while we wait it out in Santa Marta, Colombia for a weather window. We’re heading to Panama’s San Blas islands manyana, but the winds are blowing 35+ knots even in the marina. It’s a howling gale out there. Assuming we set sail as planned tomorrow morning,we’ll be off net for about a week .. should be fun she says nervously. Adios amigos!!
PS!! Excited that the native community living on San Blas Islands, The Gunas are a matriarchy. The women control the money and husbands move into the women’s family compound. Looking forward to observing..
