“Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi!” squealed Cup into the VHF radio as Resolute hit the lead in the Great Lagoon Regatta.
Les Obstacles: French race briefing (we got lost), French barging (we got scared), French wine (we got pissed), French dancing (we showed ’em), Frenchmen hands (we avoided them).
Les Positives: French joie de vivre, le beach party al la Woodstock.

– 22 boats (12 multihulls).
– Non-french speaking crews: 1.
– On Resolute: Compliant but clueless crew des filles: 3.
– Spinnakers raised by compliant and clueless crew des filles: 5.
– Lowered: 4. You do the maths.
Le outcome: Ressie victory! In the multihull division, we were 1st on corrected time, and 2nd on elapsed time!!
