Not sure how last week evaporated so fast. Presently, we’re berthed in Port Denarou marina and today is the day ….. the Giblets arrive PLUS Jack. I have to confess to much excitement, as it has been more than a month away and goodness knows what will confront us.

The plan is to settle quickly aboard Resolute and then gather ourselves for the trip to Vanuatu. That’s at least a 4 day non-stop passage and we’re bracing ourselves for sea sickness. Much depends on the wind and the swell conditions. It’s looking very calm, perhaps too calm if you peek at the forecast. Too calm means very slow and possibly motoring. Aargh says Ken. There’ll be no Internet for a few days so we’ll be reporting next from Port Vila.

They’ve landed!!! Bit bruised from my manhandling but smiles all round. I’ll keep this short as much to do. The Mother Hen in me is so very happy. Papa Rooster looking busy (much attention to water levels and power usage since kids plonked themselves aboard) but he’s loving the chaos… deep down.
