News of the day: Masterchef cook-off competition has been formally announced and launched. Competitors Glenda and Andrew face each other this evening in front self-proclaimed judges, Smithy and the Captain. No elimination planned.PS from the Skipper: We’ve been racing along in a happy ship. Glenda has found her sea legs and slept like a baby last night in the forward bunk in a fairly big sea – she’s very proud of herself. We’re now well of the top of New Caledonia, and we’re shooting for Coffs Harbour, though if we get a southerly (which is forecast) we might end up in Brisbane instead.
